Preparing the concrete floor is essential to obtain the correct bond between the base coat and the existing concrete. We use diamond grinders and industrial vacuums that minimize dust to achieve this bond.
Next, using a propitiatory concrete mender, we repair and fix ugly concrete. This mender can fill old cracks and fix concrete spalls. This is done before any coating is applied, leaving a smooth surface.
Penntek's self-priming pure polyurea basecoat is mixed and applied by certified and trained technicians. This basecoat forms a secure bond with the concrete.
Immediately after the basecoat application, the vinyl chips are generously broadcasted by hand across the floor. This provides a beautiful array of color and texture to your floor.
Once the basecoat is fully cured, we scrape off the loose vinyl chips. The industrial vacuums are used to remove any lose or vertical standing chips in preparation for the final coat.
Lastly, the clear coat of polyaspartic is applied. This layer protects your floor from normal traffic such as scuffs and spills. It is easy to clean, 100% antibacterial, does not chip or peel, and 100% UV stable.
